To ensure long life and reliability, all ACDelco Remanufactured Engines contain these brand-new components/features:

  • new intake and exhaust valves

  • line-bored cam bearings

ACDelco Remanufactured Engines are put through a mandatory, rigorous barrage of tests in an actual running environment at full operating temperature to ensure that the engine you receive has passed our performance requirements. These "hot run" tests include:

  • oil pressure test
  • compression test
  • vacuum test
  • air- and fluid-integrity leak test
